Created by Triskell Organisation in 2001, this nautical event is driven to a single purpose: to enjoy sailing in a spirit of friendliness. Of the 31 participants at its 1st edition in 2001 to around 80 in 2007, the target of 150 vessels is getting closer and closer. The 2007 edition was attended by 510 crew on the water, including 120 from Martinique. More than 60 volunteers have been devoted themself to support this event. Close to one hundred boats are expected for 2008.

Now recognized as one of the biggest regatta of the French Caribbean, it is distinguished by the number and the diversity of its participants. It is becoming more and more international, welcoming crews from France, Montreal, Italy, Holland and Guyana, in addition to those from the nearby islands of Martinique, Antigua, St. Maarten and Trinidad.
