In lack of participants in the past, the 'Tour de Guadeloupe, has been revived by Triskell organisation 5 years ago. It now welcomes more than fifty yachts from the 'requin' to the Swan 62, sport catamarans, bareboat and racing monohulls and multihulls. Triskell aims to the participation of about sixty boats for the next edition.

Highly publicized on a local and national range, this event allowing to a discover the archipelago of Guadeloupe while sailing and racing, is a real touristic product that is to be promoted. It exposes all the assets of Guadeloupe and its islands but also their rich heritage.

Each step helps to discover the customs, folklore and traditional music composing Guadeloupe. All these festivities organized by municipalities hosting this event to discover or rediscover the beauty, kindness and hospitality that characterizes the local population. An appointment not to be missed ..... Sport and unforgettable celebration.

Since last year the association Triskell has made the Round Guadeloupe race a kind of Round  the Archipelago. Indeed each race will lead to the fleet on a different island each day and for sure one of the highlights of the 2010 edition will be the round Désirade race from Saint Francis for an "offshore" race whose intensity will only be matched by the beauty of the landscapes.
